Grown Up Amid Welding Sparks ✨—From Fearing the Heat to Chasing the Light

The first time I picked up the welding torch tremblingly, 🔥 the sparks that sizzled and burst made me step back half a step right away! Staring at the crooked weld bead inside my welding helmet, my palms were soaked with sweat—I kept thinking, “Could I really do this job well?” 💥

Later on, ⚙️ I practiced every day until my arms couldn’t lift anymore. My gloves got tiny dotted holes burned by sparks, and the scrap steel plates I ruined piled high enough to sit on like a small stool. My master always tapped the workpiece and said, “Keep your eyes on the molten pool—don’t let your hands waver.” So I squatted in front of my workbench, staring at that dancing patch of light, until I went from finding it dazzling to being able to follow the molten pool accurately.

Then one day, after finishing a weld, I took off my helmet and suddenly froze—✨ there were actually neat, even fish-scale patterns on the steel plate! My master came over and patted me: “You’ve got it—this weld is solid!” Even the weld spatter on my clothes felt cute that day~

Now every time I hit the switch, listening to the sizzling rhythm of sparks and watching them weave into a warm band of light before my eyes 🔥, I feel so grateful I didn’t give up back then. Turns out, so-called “proficiency” is just turning all those moments of fearing difficulty into a daily life spent with welding sparks.

Are you gritting your teeth through something too? Don’t panic—those hardships right now will eventually become something “worth it” when you look back later! 💪
